Why I love Zappos
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008Where do you buy your shoes? Do you walk in to a store look at 50 or so options on the wall and then ask to try one or two pairs on? Do you buy your shoes blindly and pay tax? Well if you do, you better stop!
I used to be like you, buying my shoes in stores, at the New Balance store her in Los Angeles. Then, earlier this year I discovered Zappos. Zappos is the worlds largest and best shoe store. Previously I would buy the same pair of sneakers every year, checking to make sure my feet hadn’t grown. I never ventured outside of that store to buy shoes or bought good looking shoes. I found Zappos and now I’ve bought 3 pairs of shoes. I only have one of those now but that is why I love Zappos. Here are the three reasons I love Zappos.

- Great Prices
- Great Customer Service.
As I already said Zappos has the biggest selection of shoes on the net and I’ve found that to be true. I can find sandals in my size (12 4E). They also have aweosme prices, no extra charges for anything, you pay just for the shoes, no Tax in California (which is the only state anyone should care about :-D) and best of it shipping is free. And that ties in to the great customer service. Shipping is free both ways and they always answer emails within 24 hours. I once had an email that hadn’t been returned in the autoreplied estimated 17 hours, so I just twittered that i was still waiting and directed it towards Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos) whos Twitter name is Zappos and with that little @Zappos tweet it was all sorted out. Now that is service! I’ve also had to return two pairs of shoes. One of them I had used for about 2 months and then it started to just fall apart. Zappos acccepted that return no problem and they paid for the return shipping. My most recent purchase are my Ugg Walleys. They are comfortable and look great and best of all I got them for $25 off since I got the Zappos credit card. And now….the absolute best part. Every time I’ve ordered with Zappos I’ve automatically been upgraded to at least 2 day shipping and most recently next day air. In fact on my Uggs, I received them less than 24 hours after I ordered them and that is to commended. Because Zappos has been so awesome to me I felt that I had to spread the word to others. I recommend that everyone in the U.S. reading this buy their next pair of shoes there, you won’t be dissapointed and will be amazed at the service.
